The PSOI meets on the first, second and fourth Tuesdays of a calendar month. We meet in Ely House, Ely Place (very close to St. Stephen’s Green and Baggot Street). Google Maps link.

Meetings run from 7pm-9pm, with bourse viewing from 6:30pm.

When a meeting opens, we share various announcements of interest. This is typically followed by the ‘Display of the Evening’, or some educational topic, and a bourse where varied philatelic material is offered to enthusiastic bidders.

A detailed Programme of scheduled events is available to members. This year’s programme includes Member Displays, Invited Guest displays, Competitions, a Quiz and a Members’ Mart.

There is also an Away-Day, which is an annual social event to a place of interest. This is a Members-Only event.

• Recent outings have included Dublin Castle, the Great Leviathan Telescope at Birr Castle, Marino Casino, Museum of Literature Ireland and Glasnevin Cemetery.
• A commemorative souvenir usually marks this special occasion.
